Your PIN code
If you have never changed it, your voicemail PIN number will be set to the default number. We need the correct PIN code to access your voicemail and save the greeting. Click here for a list of the default PIN numbers.

How to use this service

Your Virgin Mobile voicemail service is supplied free of charge with your subscription. Both Prepaid and Postpaid subscriptions receive this service automatically. Your Virgin Mobile voicemail service must be activated in order to receive your new voicemail greeting.

Your voicemail PIN number is different to your 'Security code' and 'PUK code'. Please make sure that know your voicemail PIN number before calling. If you do not know your voicemail PIN number, please refer to the instructions below.

Your Voicemail Pin code.
When you listen to your voicemail messages you can dial 222 from your handset or keep the "1" button pressed down until your phone dials your voicemail mailbox. If the "1" button does not work you will need to consult your Virgin Mobile user guide or contact customer services by calling 121 Normally you do not need to enter your Voicemail Pin code, as the network will recognise your mobile phone and give you direct access to your messages.

How do I know what my Voicemail Pin code is?
If you have never used or changed your voicemail pin code it will be set to the default pin code 1210. If this is the case you can enter this pin code and your voicemail greeting will be transferred.

How do I change my voicemail pin code?
Call 222 using your mobile phone and wait for the main menu. (This will happen after you have listened to any new messages you may have received)

Then Press 2 to change mail box features.

Press 1 to change your pin code.

Enter your new pin code followed by the # key.

Your new Voicemail pin code will be saved.

You can immediately use this new pin code to transfer your new greeting. We recommend you use a memorable number like a birthday (e.g. 30th Dec = 3012).

Why do I need a Voicemail Pin code? When you use a normal fixed line to retrieve your voicemail messages the network will not give you direct access. Instead you will be requested to enter a valid pin code. This pin code prevents unauthorised access to your voicemail messages
